London is a major city so of course there will always be a level of crime and people who are out to do bad things - but over the past couple of months, I have had 4 close friends who’ve had their phones stolen right out of their hands.
They’ve all (apart from one) been on their way to work / in complete daylight - not that it should matter by the way, but it makes it all the more scary to think you can just be going about your day to day and someone is there to rob you.
I’m curious if others feel like this has gotten much worse in recent months (or am I just an anomaly)?
I’m also curious if others have tips to avoid this - other than just don’t use your phone (which is the best tip but not always possible).
Thanks!
