Do you know one of these card machines, before paying asking you to select a tip %?
If I see that AND if the menu says that a XX% service charge will be added to the bill, I just feel like never coming back to that place again tbh but it's more common recently so I just select "no tip" if prompted for one.. Nothing against tipping if the place is good, but for me it's one or the other, not both.
I have no problems clicking "no tip" if service charge is included in the bill, while my SO, for some reason, says she feels ashamed to do something like that.
Am I being unreasonable with my "one or the other" logic? My SO thinks so, so you're helping settle an arguement here...
