So, I'm a New Yorker. As much as we like to think we're the center of the world, we aren't. I'm visiting for a few days next week, and I'm interested in trying new things that I really can't find here at home. Doner Kebab isn't really a thing in NYC yet (though many very similar options), so that's on my list. I've also never had an honest English pub meal, not to mention NYC bar culture sounds nothing like what a pub is in the UK. I love a fancy cocktail as well; upscale places are ok.
Bread? Sausage? Cheeses? I want my heart broken when I have to pay triple for anything I love back in New York.
