I'm a nonbinary trans lesbian, and haven't yet undergone any medical transition because it wouldn't be safe to be that "out" in my current situation. As such, I currently look like "a dude who likes to wear pink." I've been trying to use dating apps and such because I feel shitty about myself, but I just KNOW I come off as one of those weird dudes who categorize themselves as women on the algorithm while still referring to themselves as men, usually to be predators.
I've plastered she/they and "Demigirl lesbian" and such all over my profile but there's no fixing the fact that at best I look like an ugly boobless butch girl. I'm not sure there's any way to fix this without transitioning but I'm not getting any younger and it's, again, not safely possible right now.
