I've been having contractor from my home builder coming to my house to fix things (covered by warranty). I had a contractor fixing my drawer door handles. When the first guy showed up, he told me that they need to replace the whole piece and he doesn't have it with him. He told me he would send someone over the next day and asked me to sign his completed home order. I made the stupid decision of signing it (second time last month, different incident).
His guy showed up next day and installed the broken drawer handles but told me there is a problem. He told me that the top drawer's handle doesn't match the bottom two anymore so the top one needs to be replaced. I contacted them after a few weeks (I was busy) and now they tell me that my request "out of scope".
Is there any way I can get them to fix this? Legally, the completion form is signed by me, so I think I shot myself in the foot by signing that form and not immediately contacting them.
