If a company made a product that was intentionally defective if used one way and charged for another product to use it that way is there anything that can be done legally?
Post Body

So I bought a ps5 and I like it, but I keep it vertical and the issue is that the stand it comes with doesn’t have any grips for using it vertical. I didn’t have any issues until simply walking up to my room to play it I heard it fall and it landed on the disc drive which broke the disc drive.

That wouldn’t have happened had they made a stand that had grips for using the PlayStation vertically as well as horizontally, and they advertise it being used vertically so it is intended to be used that way. Is there any legal recourse I could seek even just to get it fixed?

Edit: I also want to point out that the stand they send in the box is also at a slope, twists to the part that’s supposed to grab it horizontally is out of the way, and has grooves that look like it’ll hold the Ps5, but doesn’t hold it well enough.
