Hi all, I have a meeting next week to discuss proration on my commission letter (I’m in a sales role) with my company. They accidentally sent me a coworkers commission letter too. His commission structure is different than mine (lower target, higher commission and his commission does not appear to be prorated like mine). I want to print it off and bring it to the discussion…I’m guessing this could get me in trouble? I work in Texas. I started in this role in September (internal move) and I’m being told my commission is prorated on account of that. My colleague started months after (external hire) and his commission is a round number and does not appear to be prorated, so I’d like to point it out to management to discuss. How much trouble would I be looking at by printing this off and bringing it with? Thank you in advance! P.S. we work on the fiscal year and they didn’t send me this letter until February
