Now, I'm 100% fine with that, I just don't know how to say that without it sounding weird. At first I thought of saying "that doesn't bother me", but then I thought to myself it sounds like I'm saying she's weird but I'm fine with it, which is not the message I am trying to send at all. I was wondering if somebody could help me with my response, I've never been in this situation before.
For context, we are not really in a romantic situation, something more casual and her exact message to me was "I'm trans btw". Would appreciate any help.
I was thinking of saying something like "Is that meant to meant to bother me lol" and then following up with "this'll be a new experience for me though, just to warn you" to let her know I haven't been with a trans woman before so I may not be 100% confident. Maybe that's a bit too macho?
