Is there a gender neutral term for aunt/uncle or am I just stupid?
Post Body

The gender neutral term for niece and nephew are ā€œniblingsā€ but Iā€™m not sure for aunt and uncle.

Well, niece and nephews are called ā€œniblingsā€ so maybe we should call aunts and uncles ā€œnibblersā€

I had a ā€œcousin explainerā€ printed out once but I donā€™t know where it is- it was the coolest thing ever.

Well itā€™s interesting because I would feel weird calling someone uncle John, and then calling an enby just by their name without a title. Kinda like how you donā€™t call you parents by their name you just say ā€œmomā€ or ā€œdadā€. I just feel like Iā€™m not respecting the person that Iā€™m talking to if I give a certain title to everyone else but not them. Thatā€™s just me.
