What gender neutral word should we use for people getting married?
Post Body
This came up in a conversation on r/lgbt and I thought I would ask it here. Someone suggested "grid", I didn't really like amalgams like "gride" or "broom" and suggested "celebrant". Does anyone have any better suggestions? Are there words already in use that I'm not aware of?
edit: Thought I'd gather the suggestions here for anyone new:
Betrothed, the intendeds, the engaged couple, the marital couple, the spouse-to-be, the future-spouse, engageds, marriers, weds, lovebirds, megirva.
