I'm asking because this is how my sexuality operates. I frequently label myself as pansexual but it doesnt feel right.
I don't think pansexual is correct because pansexual people can still be attracted to others. And the emotional connection doesn't spark a huge surge of physical attraction for them.

usually when i fall in love with someone i just call my sexuality whatever their name is. so if i fall in love emotionally with someone named Tim, I'd now identify as Timsexual because that would just fit my sexuality more. I wouldnt want to identify as pansexual bc that would suggest that i would be open to others too. but no, if im in love im only attracted to that one person and their entire BEING becomes my brain's new standard of beauty. Everything about them. my brain will say "oh okay this is what im attracted to now and nothing else. this gender, this appearance, this everything. this is my new standard."
