Interviewing for an investigator position what to expect?
Post Body

The title is pretty much what I'm looking for. A little background, I'm currently a Deputy at a small county sheriff's office and have been there for 2.5 years. Because of the nature of working at a small dept we have to investigate our own cases and are responsible for them until they are disposed of in court. In my 2.5 years I have handled dope cases, rape cases, child rape cases, stolen cars, robberies etc. I now have an opportunity to be considered for an investigator position at a different dept and I really want this job. Can anybody give me a little advice on what to expect? The first interview is a panel interview. Also I do meet the qualifications for the job it is for an "entry level" position. Are investigator interviews different from a standard le interview? Thanks in advance for all your help.
