Is it possible to be a cop part time? Like hired for a department, go on patrol, or potentially join a task force?

I’m in my 20’s, I’ve graduated college and own a business where I have a ton of free time and don’t have to worry about my finances. I’m not looking to be a cop full time, but is it possible to do like one or 2 shifts a week for a department after going through the academy?

Specifically, I’ve been reading about gang violence and felon task forces, which seems pretty exciting to me. I’ve played football professionally as well so I think I’d be up for the physical aspect of the job.

Any information would be great, I enjoy learning more about LE from an outside perspective
