Iā€™m sure some do, Iā€™m just speaking from personal experience since you directed your comment towards me.

Iā€™m pretty sure majority of us are born here or came here as children and became naturalizedā€¦.

I mean my mother had a very competitive job in india, her work place asked her to move. She didnā€™t make an active effort, but ok.

I mean itā€™s a bit problematic to say any opinion an Indian American may hold is because they are looking for validation from white people. Plus they are Americans working for the American government, obviously they are gonna push for what benefits our country. Ethnic background is pretty secondary.

Kinda hard to pick up the language when youā€™re surrounded by English speakers and your parents likely also speak English in the home.

Lol I literally donā€™t have much of an opinion on Indian politics. Itā€™s a full time job to keep up with politics in my own country.

Yeah I guess I just see myself as an American of Indian descent but there is definitely some of the straddling the line between culture and nationality.

Uhh I mean, your accent does change with who youā€™re aroundā€¦ that being said if you live here majority of your life youā€™re gonna sound like an American.

Lol yes, Iā€™m aware Native Americans arenā€™t Indian. Itā€™s generally more accepted to call them Native Americans than Indians in the United States. Also, donā€™t know what youā€™re getting at with the CEO comment.

Ah yes, anyone disagreeing with you painting an entire nation with one stroke is a brain washed ā€œcoconutā€ got it.

Sort of a gross simplification of American politics, but okay. Our government isnā€™t pushing for genocide or imperialism.

Iā€™m a woman sir šŸ˜‚. I donā€™t know about silver spoon everyone has their struggles but yes I recognize I have the privilege of wealth and being an American in general.

I mean it has its faults, like any other country. Iā€™ll admit there are times I feel very uncomfortable in India, but I donā€™t know many Indian Americans who straight up hate India.

Worked for a energy research company.

You really have no say in immigration policies as a green card holder though.

Huh ? Iā€™ve had a pretty good experience here, might also be because I grew up in a very liberal state though.
