Are calorie labels regulated and accurate?
Post Body

Recently I purchased this red chilli sauce from "Ching's secret" brand. However the label seems fishy to me. It says 47 calories per 100gs. This is lower than most sugar free sauces. Heinz sugar free sauce is like 50 calories per 100g. Heinz regular sauce is 102 calories per 100g. Same for REmia. This chings sauce is a regular version.

And they have the same calorie label on the green chilli sauce. Which is again weird.

Are these labels real and accurate ? Is some authority keeping checks on that? For example in EU the label has to be very accurate otherwise the company will get into legal trouble
