So I'm re-learning about it after being 14 year separated from school, and never really paid much attention to it when I was in High School because I much preferred Ancient History, but is it correct to say it was a civil war up until France and Spain joined, at which time it became an international war? Also if the colonies had lost, would it have been known as the something like the American Colonies Rebellion? Is it possible to make an assumption on what would have happened if Britain had managed to win? Thank you all so much for your time, and effort. I've done some googling but I feel like I'm not very good at it.
