Was there a culture of corruption in Germany's military during WWII?

Post Body

I have read a lot about the corruption within higher rungs of the German military during the Second World War, but I am curious as to whether it could have been considered to be a systemic problem. Was corruption widespread? What was the most common kind of corruption that occurred? Is there any sign that units stationed in wealthy areas (Vichy France, for example) were less corruptible than units in less wealthy areas (such as units near the Eastern front)?
