Are there any cases of “innocent” outlaws in history?
Post Body
Obviously people like Billy the Kid would have had no/little issue being declared an outlaw. Are there any instance where an average joe was declared an outlaw and they weren’t a hardened criminal but maybe just a person who made a mistake or maybe was even innocent. Not sure how well documented this is off at all but I’m very curious what that situation would be like for someone who still wanted to be a part of civilized society.
