it's a gif reflecting the violence done by various groups against other groups as described by newspapers of the time.
I'm particularly interested in why the amount of violence carried out by police on workers and socialists goes down in 1921 and 1922 as violence by fascists on these groups goes up.
i also notice that violence by socialists and workers on fascists tends to remain small, or at least smaller than violence done by fascists against workers and socialists.
is the gif an accurate representation of the way violence occurred at the time (seeing as its based only on newspaper articles) or does it miss certain things (perhaps because of bias in the media, or some other reason that lead newspapers to not accurately reflect who carried out the violence on which target
