In Brisbane, Australia, what is the history of conflict between British settlers and indigenous people that is behind recent efforts to change the name of the streets called Boundary Street in West End and Spring Hill?

Post Body

There's been some controversy recently over the two Boundary Streets - one in the West End and one in Spring Hill - in inner city Brisbane (as can be seen in this 2016 article, where the Mayor seems open to changing the names). The article is quite vague, however, about what those street names really represent, and what occurred in colonial Brisbane between British settlers and the local Murri people who are the traditional owners of the land. What is the history of those streets?
