Riverine Warfare in WW2
Post Body

Riverine and brown-water warfare has been a common element of wars in the 20th Century, and beyond, from the battles on the Great Lakes in the War of 1812, through Spicer-Simson's expedition to Lake Tanganyika in 1915-16, to the American Mobile Riverine Forces in Vietnam. However, I've not seen much discussion of riverine warfare in WW2. Does anyone know anything about this, especially on the Eastern Front, or in China?
