My wife and I were looking into newspaper archives for early mentions of Adolf Hitler (prior to the Beer Hall Putsch in November 1923), and we came across some fascinating stuff. My wife found articles from various newspapers in Adelaide, South Australia, dated 24 March 1923, describing a foiled plot to overthrow the republic by the National Freedom Party and Adolf Hitler, resulting in a number of arrests. They also mention that Ludendorff was implicated in the plot. This sounds a lot like the Beer Hall Putscch, except these articles were published several months prior.
Further, I found an article from the Heidelberg Volkszeitung, also from 24 March 1923, detailing a speech by Carl Severing accusing various nationalists of a putschist conspiracy, mentioning a partnership between "Henning, Wulle and Rossbach" as well as between Erich Ludendorff and Hitler - again, several months before the Beer Hall Putsch. My understanding is that Hitler and Ludendorff didn't even have contact until later in the year.

The article was reproduced in the Adelaide Register two days later, with additional mention of "the Rossbach plot": https://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/64179304?searchTerm=Adolf Hitler
It was reprinted again in the Adelaide Observer on 31 March: https://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/165701721?searchTerm=Adolf Hitler

I've never heard of any incident like this before now. It's not mentioned on Wikipedia, and googling only returns results for the Beer Hall Putsch in November. Is this some kind of bizarre mistake with the newspaper archives? If not, what happened here?
