I’m a AGM for a hotel and my GM told me today that her manager in Corporate said I had to quit a part time job I have in another hotel as a night auditor (overnight front desk, basically) because as a manager I have too much information or something like that to work for the competition.
1) Both hotels are in different cities so is not really the same market. 2) I didn’t sign a non-compete document if that is even a thing.
My question is if I have a leg to fight this. I don’t want to quit the other hotel because is easy money that I need, and I don’t want to look for another part time doing something else.
