As stated above- we recently started a no rehires policy, based on the fact that rehires generally don’t last as employees. We waste thousands of dollars a year on-boarding rehires who rarely work out as long term employees. But is it legal to actually have a policy of not rehiring ex-employees?
Hahaha, I remember after a sued an employer I had to sign the settlement saying I wouldn’t ever apply to them again. I asked, “Why would I want to work HERE again and as if you all would hire me after I sued you? Hand me the paper and pen!”
