Hi, I recently when on FMLA unexpectedly. I work with the homeless population and after some traumatic experiences that were very triggering to my own experience so I took some time off. a while ago I applied for a supervisor position for this very issue, so that I could get out of frontline for a while and also support frontline staff. I finally received an interview and it went really well I was transparent about the FMLA but explained that this would sort of solve my main issue with work. Would being on FMLA impact my ability to get a new position?
I also have a union. Thanks in advance
