Hello! I am in the midst of the interview process for a position I am very excited about, and wanted opinions on whether things are headed in a positive direction. This is a creative position in the publishing sector.
I completed a 30 minute phone screener with HR, submitted a portfolio, had a 1 hour zoom interview with the head of the team, then a 1 hour in-person interview with senior leadership. I was given a writing test to complete on Thursday which I submitted on Friday, then HR contacted me on Sunday to set up a “final check-in” on zoom with the three team members I had previously met with.
I want to be prepared for this meeting but honestly not sure what to expect, since it was not described as an interview, I’ve met all of these people already, and I’ve never been asked to have a “concluding” meeting like this before.
Has anyone experienced this before? Does this sound similar to your company’s hiring process? Is it a positive sign that I could be getting the job?
The meeting is scheduled for 4 days out so I have the jitters right now! Any anecdotes or advice would be helpful. Thanks :)
