Hi all,
I don’t normally WFH but because of a disease I have, I’m allowed to WFH up to 40 hrs per month. I have to go back to NJ for 3 days next week. Nothing in the employee handbook says I can’t WFH from another state. I do have a company laptop, so I was unsure if that would ping and alert someone that I’m working from another state. I have that 40 hrs of WFH time available, is this okay?
I don’t want to ask the actual HR team, be told no, and be forced to use PTO. I don’t have enough PTO to use for it. Plus, there’s no reason I can’t work my usual hours from NJ.
Thanks!
