Post Body

My wife quit her job about a month ago. She let her boss know with a text message, stating that she would submit the official resignation letter later, as we were on vacation at the time. She forgot to send the letter, and now her employer is saying that she hasn’t resigned yet and they want her to pay them for time in lieu of notice.

Can she reasonably argue that the text should count?
