So I'm an autistic dude that most people would describe as "high functioning," but socializing still presents some challenges for me, so very sorry if any of this is awkward.
Now, for whatever reason, I've noticed that I tend to get along better with women and lgbtq people than cishet men. It doesn't seem to depend on how attractive I find the person, so I don't think it's that and I really don't want to come across as the type of creep who hangs out with girls just to try to get with them. I think it's just relaxing to not feel the pressure of having to put on some bs macho act to not be seen as a loser the same way I do when I'm around straight guys. Like I can just be myself instead of feeling sized up constantly.
Anyway, is that weird? Being on the spectrum, I tend to have a hard time gauging what exactly is and is not weird, so I just wanted some perspective on it.
Anyway, thanks for reading, and have a good one!
I prefer female friends too tbh. Men seem to always make things competitive with me one something, super annoying. I have 2 guy friends compared to 10~ female ones.
