Do/have any of you just gone to a gay bar alone? How did it go?

Hey guys! So, I've been passively on all the apps, looking for sex, looking for dates, looking for friends. I've started noticing that I look at people's profiles on them with a lot more of a judging eye than in real life. And I really don't like that. So I think I'd like to shift to going out in the real world and just meeting guys there naturally. I've been thinking of just going to a gay bar in my city and just trying to meet cute guys there. Can any of you relate? How did it go if you did?
