If you have gone to a concert alone, how was the experience?

Long story short. I’ve been so focused on work and school over the past few years that I’ve drifted from my friends. So I don’t have much of a friend group. I really want to go to the Lady Gaga concert in LA, and My Chemical Romance concert in Vegas, each occur this fall. But the thought of going to such a public place is so stress and anxiety inducing. I hate to think of what people will think of me when they realize I am there alone. Also, I’m not the most outgoing person around new people. Which has me avoiding buying my ticket. So, if you have gone to a concert alone, how was the experience? Any tips?
