I know about 99% of the readers won’t understand exactly what I’m going through, but sure many people can relate with being self conscious about body issues.
I lost a testicle due to cancer early in life. I also have a large scar on my stomach from that surgery. I’ve always been very self conscious and will always keep lights off when hooking up. I want to enjoy sex and not have someone question my scar or missing ball. Lately I’ve been wanting to keep lights on, but don’t know how guys will react. I’ve had a lot of bad reactions when guys see it or when I’m up front and let them know my situation.
I want to scream and tell them it’s not an std, you’re not going to catch anything. I’ve never met anyone who accepted me for this or another testicular cancer survivor to date.
How have you guys overcome body issues or insecurities?
