The whole app dating etiquette

Is it just me, or do any of you get annoyed when you're on an app, you seem to be having conversation that is amicable, and it's over.
With one click, one swipe (not withstanding if someone is rude), but you think you might have found a match and wham one look and conversation is gone (e.g. tinder).
I think it's annoying because in real world, there's a warning. You might see said guy walk away, or body language. Text alone leaves you with misreading and or no hints
