Single adoptive parents?
Post Body

Hey bros,

I've always wanted kids. I have very few expectations or hopes for how my life will turn out, but kids have always been a part of that vision. A partner has not.

As I'm getting older I'm starting to think about getting myself set up to adopt as a single parent. Not necessarily soon, but probably in 7-10 years. Anyone have any experience with this? From working with an agency, to actually navigating parenthood on your own?

I'm not anti-partner. In my hierarchy of wants and needs, I'm OK with being single for myself, but I'd be worried about impacting a kid with the challenges of single parenthood.

So have any of you adopted as a single guy? or have any of you been raised by single dads gay or straight? Welcome your thoughts because it's a really daunting but exciting thought.
