Can I store my sex toys in a backpack?

Excuse my ignorance, but I was wondering if a backpack would be a good place to store silicone sex toys and not worry about bacteria or degradation? I own three plugs, a dildo, and a fleshlight, and kept those in a polyester (I think) bag that recently got torn. I've been meaning to buy a bag or something to store my toys (along with douche and lube), and thought a backpack might do the trick.
