I rent in a condo community where in my opinion nobody really chats with each other. Yet my parents were hanging at my house and I guess one of my male neighbors was trying to chat with me when I was about to go hangout with my parents. I was walking to the car and he said something to me something generic like hi and I guess I walked past him with my head down and didn't say anything. My mother thought it was odd. I told her idk I just was walking down my stairs and didn't want to fall so my head was down. This has come up before. I believe other guys in the building want to chat with me but I can't tell if they are just being polite or want to really know me. Is there a way to tell? Also I know this sounds like something out of a tv show this next question but I want to meet guys in my condo community kind of like how Leonard did with Penny on the big bang theory. If anyone has any thoughts on either question let me know. Thanks.
