How long should I wait to ask someone out?
Post Body

People of the gay community, lend me your aid! (Sorry, I just wanted to be dramatic for a second lol.)

So I am 24 and have never been in a relationship before. I started working at a new job and recently found out one of my co-workers (23) is also gay. After getting his number, when would be an appropriate time to ask him out on a date? I've gotten answers as little as 3 days to a month. Would it be bad to just tell him straight up I want to go out on a date to get to know him better?
