A Guy Led Me On...What Should I Do?
Post Body

Ok so, last time I asked a question here, it was because a guy was showing interest in me. Well here's an update of sorts...

The guy came over to my place for a few hours. We talked, watched Sense8, and he ate some food he brought and I warmed up something I already had. Though, we didn't cuddle. He sat on the floor and was on his laptop finishing a few applications and I sat at my desk watching TV. So eventually, I commented how kissing scenes don't seem realistic. He mentions how he hates bad kissers and how he's a good kisser. I played devil's advocate and said he could be a bad one too, to which he replied the only way to prove himself and dispell my doubt would be to kiss me. I got nervous and changed the subject. I didn't want to manipulate the situation for a kiss, especially if it didn't turn out in my favor (if that makes sense). Afterwards he says he noticed I was nervous and did it on purpose. Eventually it got late, and he leaves even though I offered him the spare bed (fully decked out btw) because he walked to my place and I genuinely didn't want him walking back to his place in the dark. But he left anyways.

The next day I texted him and asked if the whole kissing thing was his way of asking or nudging me for a kiss. He replied with a kindof of "LOL" and then went on to say no, and that he doesn't want to ruin the friendship.

I talked to a few friends and they said that he basically led me on and that I shouldn't talk to him.

My dilemma is: Even though he did lead me on, I still enjoyed our previous conversations. And I still like the guy so I'm hesitant to just cut him off completely. I don't have guy friends, also. So I want your opinion, is it dumb of me to not cut him off? I also want to ask if he led me on intentionally. The guy is 19 and though he has more sexual experience than me, he told me he's never dated. And while I haven't either, I feel it's possible he could've led me on and may not have realized it (I've been told I have a tendency to see the best in people, even when they've hurt me). So...yeah. Am I just being dumb and naive?
