I’m 51 with a dad bod. I need to start working out. The problem is — I have no motivation. I have a partner who needs to work out too but has even less motivation. He thinks he can lose weight by yo-yo dieting. Anyway, I started jogging 2 years ago because I signed up for a half marathon with runDisney. I’ve done 3 half marathons since. But I live in Florida. It’s hell in the summer to be outside running. So I usually don’t. I’d like to build some upper body strength as well as lose some weight. But I need some external motivation. Any advice on how to get started?
