Is dating a 18 year old as a 21 year old weird?

I’m 21 and recently made friends with a guy who’s 18 in college. He doesn’t look 18 he looks way older. I’m not sure if it’s weird or not because when I was 18 I didn’t mind dating older but now that I’m interested in someone younger than me it’s a little weird imo. What do u guys think?
