It has to be said rather than sugarcoated: Black gay men perpetrate and uphold White Supremacist hierarchies towards each other.

We are already on unequal level fields when it comes to finding sexually compatible partners, whether for casual encounters or/and dating, with other racial groups. Our appearance, especially for those with visible African features, is a hindrance to others, despite matching their caliber without considering race.

Finding other Black gay men for casual encounters or/and dating can be the most jarring and gut-wrenching experiences. To give you a personal example: over the years of trying to hook up with other Black men

1- Many of them reminded me of my high school bullies

2- Despite not being “alpha”, they were/are the biggest size queens/BBC chasers.

3- The alpha jocks often assumed my bottom position, simply because they are hung and message me with their dick pics.

4- Even with those I matched with, I was/am often dismissed as soon as they realize I’m not “hung”.

Furthermore, I was blocked plenty times by other Black men for voicing that we needed to take it slow on sexual activity. I was sent back home without explanation, for not being sexual instantly. I was ghosted for following up on us finding a date and a time to meet.

How are my experiences, and those with similar encounters, different from the biases of Mestizo, White, and Asian men?

Other groups don't give us chances upon first impressions, meanwhile our "own" pretends to do so, by baiting us and switching afterwards for XYZ reasons.
