Should i try Rainbow six siege again?

Alright, so i bought rainbow six siege back when it first came out as i got the game and season pass for $70. As bad as i was,i remember having fun with the little time i spent with it. Then i got distracted and I kinda forgot about the game, for the most part, until a few day ago when i start seeing ads for a season 2 pass. My first thought was, wow, there is a season 2?!

So my question is, is the community still going strong, is it friendly (by that i mean non-toxic), and is the game still worth playing?
