[5e] Trialling new DMs
Post Body

My group, which is almost completely new to D&D 5e, will be beginning Lost Mines of Phandelver as our first campaign very soon. Multiple members of our group have volunteered for DM, and seeing as though none have actually taken such a role before, we have devised a plan to trial each candidate with a kind of script, detailing some essential elements of dungeon mastering. My question is, how can I go about making something like this? What kind of encounters and settings should I employ? I also plan on including parts which need to be improvised by the prospective DM, such as responding to player choices and whatnot. Do you sages have any pointers for us? Thanks a bunch for the help, and apologies for a somewhat vague title, couldn't really think of much else
