Bonjour!
About me I am a student in southeast Asia, looking at France for Global Bachelor in Business Administration (English track). I speak native english, beginner’s french.
I have been accepted to multiple French business schools already. However, I am facing a dilemma for my top 2: Neoma (Rouen) vs Emlyon (Lyon). I have tried weighing the pros & cons of each school. However, it would be great help if graduates/current or even French business students can provide me with any insight on the 2 schools too!
Location Neoma: Beautiful vibrant campus! It seems to have decent facilities and is very near student dorms. Accessible to other cities. Rouen seems very vibrant as well. Convenient access to places. Emlyon: Need more info!
Student Clubs and Associations Does some only accept French speaking students? If so, which ones?
Partner universities for exchange I am interested in South Korea! However, I am not sure which the partner universities on their website is applicable for GBBA. Neoma: Strong and many options! Any insight/tips on the selection opportunity? Emlyon: Strong! Any insight/tips on the selection opportunity?
School reputation & prestige Emlyon: Very well regarded. I heard that Emlyon is higher than Neoma in ranking and prestige. Emlyon is also famous for marketing, which I am considering to take up (yet unsure). I am wondering whether it is a significant gap or they are roughly in the same tier regardless..!
School events Neoma: Plenty! eg ECRICOME Challenge
Others Is there a divergence for international students? How are the professors and academic support? Liveliness, safety of the city? What kind of environment does the school provide?
I seek for a conducive and a quality educational programme to develop my skills. Simultaneously, student life and having fun is equally as important to me. I hope to have an enjoyable & vibrant time in the school that I choose. Merci beaucoup!
