Where did the "a wooden spoon stops pots boiling over" myth come from?
Post Body
Get told it so often. It's crap. We all know it's crap. Stop telling me to do it.
So now I'm wondering where that originated?
Is it Big Spoon propaganda? To sell more spoons?
Is it Anti Spoon propaganda? To stop people buying spoons because it doesn't work?
Did it work with spoons of a different wood/shape/something?
Why do people keep saying it works?
