So there are the stereotypical "American" dishes that everyone knows about, burgers, buffalo wings, bbq, and so on. These are pretty ubiquitous in the US and seem to be catching on in other countries as well. But American food is incredibly diverse.
So my question is what about more regional varieties of food? The obvious go to is southern food, and believe it or not its not just fried chicken, (we have way more fried stuff than just chicken). But other locales such as NYC and Chicago have their own distinctive styles of cuisine, southern food from places like New Orleans and Charleston is very different from the stereotype, there's Tex-Mex, Rocky Mountains, and so on. So are these kinds of food available at all in Europe?
