Dearest community
We have been contacted by the mods over at /r/AskAnAmerican whether we would be interested in hosting a "cultural exchange" between our communities. Since you, the community, also suggested hosting these "cultural exchanges" in the last feedback-thread, we accepted their invitation.
We count on every one of you, that we can all make this exchange a pleasant experience for everyone involved. We have agreed that we will, if necessary, mod these threads relatively strictly, but we of course hope that it won't be necessary.
General Information
How will it work?
When the exchange starts, we will put up a thread for our American friends to ask their questions, and for you to answer. The mods of /r/AskAnAmerican will do the same for you to ask your questions.
When will it take place?
The exchange will take place this Friday, 23 November 2018, starting 11:00 AM CET. We will keep the threads up over the weekend.
What are the rules?
As I have alluded to in my first paragraphs, we have agreed to mod the threads relatively strictly. Generally speaking the usual rules apply, but we will put a special eye on the following:
- Answers that are unnecessarily hostile or aggressive will be removed;
- Questions that push an agenda will be removed;
- Edgy comments for the sake of being edgy will be removed.
We are looking forward to an interesting exchange between our communities and wish you a good rest of the working week.
