EU citizen wanting to go to University in another EU country; got any advice and information?
Post Body

What it says in the title really. Thinking about going to a university not in my own country. I know that as an EU citizen they can't discriminate significantly between different EU nationals. So I French person can come to the UK and get the same treatment as a UK national and visa versa.

The one other thing that I do know, however, is that student loans are tide to prior residency and not nationality, so I can't go to a French uni next year and get French university loans.

So one of the main things I'd like advice on is how to finance university in Europe, if there's any loans for EU nationals, ect.

But more generally: what are the cons? What are the pros? What are some stories of people you know doing this? How do EU universities compare to UK ons? Et cetera.
