As we reflect on this past year and look to the future, let’s root for 2024 being a better, more hopeful year.

When we posted the Happy New Year message at the start of 2023, the subreddit had just hit 750,000 subscribers. Now at the end of the year, we are sitting at 1,350,000 – equivalent to a whole Estonia. Even with this growth, it’s thanks to everyone who visits and contributes to this subreddit that we can still say the atmosphere of our subreddit is a friendly, welcoming one. Our community is here for positive conversations, transcending national divides – and it’s right we respect all regardless of their nationality or background.
