Post Body

So the buildings around my parents property are being torn down, and I'm wondering if someone could help alleviate a worry I have with this one.

It's cinderblock construction, first floor built in the 30s, and second in the 50s. It was build on the property line, and my parents aren't keen on allowing access from our side as there's large trees and structures that would make it difficult.

I'm sure it will vary based on whichever demolition company they decide to go with, but how do you think they will do it safely with minimal impact to my parents property, and how likely is it for the wall there to collapse towards our side and potentially damage the house, deck, and trees. Are there requirements for them to fence around things or is that on us?

Thanks so much, pics of the building, house and doggo included. In Canada, in case that will make a difference.
